If you have wondered how students are impacted by exposure to jobs within the healthcare industry, look for no further than Kayla’s story. While Kayla had always had an interest in the healthcare field it wasn’t until she participated in the Regional Sector Partnership summer internship at Nuvance, Sharon hospital. The students that took part in the internship have the ability to rotate through several departments and Kayla was drawn to radiology. She began working at the hospital right after the internship and is planning on going back to school to pursue her dream.
