Hands-On Healthcare: 71 Students Explore Career Paths Through Immersive Summer Internship in Northwest CT

For a week in July this year, more than 70 high school students spent a paid half-day shadowing healthcare professionals at work. Now in its second year, the NW CT HealthConnect Youth Internship makes it possible for young people to explore career possibilities in the field while receiving a benchmark payment for their participation.
